Tubeinator
Software FAQ
Q: How is Tubeinator beneficial
to me?
A:
YouTube offers incredible opportunity for driving traffic to your
website; as the 4th most visited site on the Internet, it’s
imperative that your marketing and promotion include a YouTube plan.
That
said, sometimes simply uploading a video isn’t enough. You need
to help people find it! That’s why we’ve developed Tubeinator
– to help you help others find your YouTube videos.
Tubeinator
offers a one hour trial period so that you can see first-hand how
it simplifies your YouTube life and acts as your right-hand YouTube
marketing tool.
Q: What does Tubeinator do?
A: It automatically sends Friend Requests and
Video Comments to mass amounts of people on YouTube for you in a MUCH
shorter timeframe than if you did it all manually.
Q: How do I install Tubeinator?
A: Once you have downloaded the Tubeinator setup
file, simply double-click on it and it will begin to install. During
the installation process, you will be asked to confirm your agreement
with the Copyright policy and be given the option to add a desktop
icon. Please ensure the program is saved to your C: drive under your
Program Files (C:Program Files). If you attempt to install it in a
different location you may encounter problems running it. You can
add the desktop icon for convenience in accessing Tubeinator.
Q: How do I activate my copy of Tubeinator?
A: Go to the
activation page and copy and paste your Product Code (string of
letters and numbers that pops up when you open Tubeinator) into the
“Product Code” field. The “Order ID” and “Email
Address” fields should automatically populate for you. If they
do not, check your email and look for the email that contains the
subject line “Thank you for your order!” Then copy and
paste your Order ID (found at the top of the email) into the “Order
ID” field. If you are unable to find this email, please check
your bulk/spam folders as some ISPs inadvertently send items there.
Finally, fill in the “First Name” field with your first
name and click “Activate”.
Q: When I’m logged in to Tubeinator, will
I be able to do everything I would normally do on YouTube like perform
searches, browse, etc.”
A: Absolutely. You will see YouTube within Tubeinator
just the same as you always see it. Tubeinator’s browser acts
as a regular browser. The address bar reflects the URL address of
the page you are viewing and you will find “Go”, “Back”,
“Forward” and “Skip” buttons that you can
utilize to perform those actions.
Q: How do I add accounts?
A: To begin using Tubeinator, you will need to
have a YouTube account. You can manage multiple accounts with Tubeinator.
To add YouTube user accounts, go to the “Manage Accounts”
button in the top left-hand corner. Click “Add” and enter
your YouTube username and password in the appropriate fields. Add
as many accounts as you like.
Q: What if I need to edit or delete an account?
A: No problem. Just go into “Manage Accounts”,
highlight the account you wish to edit or delete and click “Edit”
or “Delete”.
Q: How do I add friends?
A: You will need to extract profile IDs (Friend
IDs) to work with. To begin extracting Friend IDs to send Friend Requests,
simply select “Friends” in the dropdown menu on the left
and ensure that you are on the “Friend Requests” tab on
the right. Then choose a page for Tubeinator to start extracting from
and click “Extract”. You can extract IDs from any YouTube
page including another person’s profile page, search results
pages, channels pages, and group member pages. If there are multiple
pages, don’t worry, Tubeinator will continue to the next page
until it reaches the last page. Once you have extracted a batch of
IDs, just click “Send Friend Requests” and Tubeinator
will automatically send friend requests to each extracted ID for you.
Q: How do I send Video Comments?
A: You will first need to extract Video IDs to
send Video Comments. First, ensure that “Videos” is selected
in the dropdown menu on the left-hand side and that you are on the
“Video Comments” tab on the right. As with extracting
Friend IDs and sending Friend Requests, simply go to the page where
you want Tubeinator to begin extracting Video IDs and click “Extract”.
After you have extracted a batch of Video IDs to work with, enter
the comment (next to the Send Video Comments button) you would like
to leave for each video and click “Send Video Comments”.
Q: Is there a difference between Friend IDs and
Video IDs?
A: Yes, a big difference. Each YouTube profile
is assigned a profile ID (Friend ID). These are the IDs you will need
to extract to send Friend Requests.
Each video is assigned a Video ID. To send Video Comments,
you will need to extract Video IDs.
It’s easy to inadvertently extract Friend IDs
and try to send Video Comments or to extract Video IDs and try to
send Friend Requests, so keep in mind to be sure you are extracting
the right type of ID for whichever action you are performing. Check
out the “How do I send Friend Requests” and “How
do I send Video Comments” FAQs for further details.
You will get an error message if you extract the wrong
type of IDs for the action you are attempting to perform. For instance,
if you are trying to send Video Comments and get an error message
that says, “The URL contained a malformed video id” you
have extracted Friend IDs and are trying to send Video Comments. Simply
cancel that action and move forward with extracting Video IDs to send
your Video Comments. You will get a similar error message if you accidentally
extract Video IDs and attempt to send Friend Requests.
Q: Can I add IDs to the IDs I’ve already extracted so that I
can create a mass list based on different criteria?
A: Sure can. Just choose the “Append”
option when extracting additional IDs. This will add the next batch
of IDs to the IDs you have already collected.
Q: What if I am finished with the IDs I’ve
extracted or I’ve extracted the wrong thing and need to start
my list over?
A: Just select “Replace” when extracting
your next batch of IDs and your current list of IDs will be replaced
with the new batch. And don’t worry, if you choose to “Replace”
you won’t send duplicate requests or comments to the same IDs.
Only choosing to clear the Friends or Comments Log from the “Manage
Accounts” screen will clear Tubeinator’s memory of collected
IDs.
Q: What if Tubeinator is extracting IDs or sending
Friend Requests or Video Comments and I see something I want to browse
or what if I want to stop extracting or sending altogether?
A: Click on the “Pause” button if
you want Tubeinator to pause temporarily, then click “Resume”
when you’re ready to keep going. If you want to stop completely,
just click “Stop.”
Q: Can I clear the Friends and/or Comments log entirely?
A: Yep. Go into “Manage Accounts”,
highlight the account you want to clear Friends or Comments from and
click “ the “Clear Friends Log” or “Clear
Comments Log”. Please note that if you clear these logs, it
is possible you will send a duplicate Friend Request or Video Comment
to the same ID so use these options wisely.
Q: Can I import or export IDs to work with?
A: Yes. Under the “Options” menu
at the top, you will find an “Import IDs” and an “Export
IDs” option. Click on whichever one you want to do and begin
importing or exporting.
Q: Does Tubeinator bypass CAPTCHA?
A: No, it does not bypass CAPTCHA. You will need
to enter the CAPTCHA text manually but Tubeinator will notify you
via a pop-up box when this action is required from you. It will also
notify you if you need to confirm that you are of appropriate age
to view “inappropriate content”.
Q: Is there a way to tell Tubeinator how often
to send Friend Requests or Video Comments?
A: Sure is. Tubeinator has a “Time Delay”
option, which is found under the “Options” menu at the
top. You can set the amount of time you want to elapse between each
friend request and comment. The recommended setting is between 10-12,
13, 14 or 15 minutes.
If you are sending friend requests or comments and
get a message telling you that you need to wait to send more requests/comments,
please note this is a message from YouTube, not Tubeinator, and you
should try a higher time delay setting for uninterrupted friend requesting
and commenting.
Q: Will Tubeinator provide updates if needed?
A: Absolutely, and they’re free for registered
users! Updates are automatically checked for and installed for you.
If you would like to manually check for updates, or if you run into
a problem and would like to manually check to see if there is an update,
simply click the “Help” button at the top and then click
“Check for updates.”
Q: What does it mean if I get an error message
that says, “THE APPLICATION FAILED TO INITIATE (0xc0000135)”?
A: You likely do not have the latest version
of .NET installed. You may download
the latest version here.
Q: What is happening if I get an error message that says, “an
error has occurred in the script on this page”?
A: This is not a Tubeinator error and will not
stop the program from running. It is simply a notification that there
is a problem with a script on that particular page and you are prompted
to determine whether you wish to continue or not. You can simply click
“yes” and continue.
If you want to prevent seeing this message altogether:
1) Launch Internet Explorer, go to the Tools menu, then Internet Options
2) Go to the “Advanced” tab
3) Almost at the top there are 2 settings:
UNcheck “Display a notification about every script error”
and check “Disable script debugging (IE)” AND “Disable
script debugging (other)”.
Q: What does it mean if I get an error message
that says, “The URL contained a malformed video id”?
A: You are trying to send Video Comments but
have accidentally extracted profile IDs (Friend IDs) instead of Video
IDs and are attempting to send Video Comments. Just cancel that action
and move forward with extracting Video IDs to send your Video Comments.
Please review the “Is there a difference between Friend IDs
and Video IDs” FAQ for more information.
Q: What does it mean if I get an error message that says, “The
URL contained a malformed profile ID”?
A: You have inadvertently tried to send Friend
Requests to Video IDs. No biggie, just start over and be sure that
you are selecting “Friends” in the dropdown menu on the
left and ensure that you are on the “Friend Requests”
tab on the right. Please check out the “Is there a difference
between Friend IDs and Video IDs” FAQ for more information.
Q: Why do I keep getting a message telling me
that I need to wait to send more requests/comments?
A: This is a message from YouTube, not Tubeinator,
and you should try a higher “Time Delay” setting for uninterrupted
friend requesting and commenting. Please see the “Is there a
way to tell Tubeinator how often to send Friend Requests or Video
Comments?” FAQ for more details.
